I am Jackson Sells, founder and managing partner of Black Timber, a vertically integrated real estate development company based in the metro-Atlanta market.

I founded Black Timber with a clear belief: exceptional performance should never mean sacrificing anyone’s character. Our company brings development, construction, and leasing/stabilization together under one platform giving us greater control over quality, execution, and the long term performance of every community we create.

My roll is to see the entire picture - from identifying an opportunity and determining its best use to assembling the right team and guiding every project through its completion. I work alongside the most talented architects, engineers, attorneys, lenders, tradesman, and consultants who share our commitment to disciplined execution while doing business the right way.

Black Timber is especially focused on thoughtfully designed build to rent communities built around our repeatable interlocked townhouse design. We aren’t simply constructing buildings, we are creating places residents call home and producing investment grade assets designed to generate lasting value.

Integrity, accountability, intentionality, and genuine relationships guide every decision I make. I believe the best projects are built through healthy leadership where expectations are clear, challenges are addressed directly, and every single person is treated fairly.

Outside of Black Timber, I am a husband and a father to three. My family is the whole reason behind what I am building and the standard I use to measure success. I want to b build a commonly that cre5ates meaningful opportunities, takes care of people, and leaves behind something not only my family can be proud of, but every family that crosses our path.
